Club Announcment : Return to Training Update

Dear players, coaches, parents and volunteers

The Club is still working with Council to get access to grounds, taking into account the new Football Victoria Guidelines posted late Friday.  The Club has been meeting regularly to work through our Return to Football protocols in the last week and will be announcing the return to training date this Wednesday.

Please note:

  • We still do not have permission to use the facilities at Olympic Park
  • Return to training will be staged due to limited ground availability and to ensure we meet the social distancing requirements of the State Government
  • Further information on new club procedures/policies will follow that will apply to all players, coaches, parents and volunteers

Heidelberg United thanks you for your ongoing support and patience whilst waiting for details on the restart of training for the 2020 Season.  The further three week extension of the State of Emergency in Victoria by the Minister for Health Jenny Mikakos yesterday is something the Club does not take lightly.  The Club is taking all recommendations from State Government, the City of Banyule and Football Victoria whilst determining it’s complex Return to Football protocols.
