PAOK’s Network of Collaborative Academies announces its’ collaboration with Heidelberg United Football Club also known formerly as “Alexander the Great” Soccer Club .
PAOK’s Academy General Manager, Mr. Vangelis Pourliotopoulos, and Heidelberg United FC President, Mr. Steve Tsalikidis, have signed a memorandum of cooperation, which provides multiple benefits for Clubs.
The connecting link between the two Clubs is veteran football player, Mr. George Karaisarides who is a UEFA Pro Diploma holder and on his return to Australia will uptake the job as technical director and head of football at Heidelberg United FC.
Heidelberg United FC is one of the most historic and robust Clubs in the Victorian Premier League that continuous to honour its Greek heritage, by maintaining its links with Greece and through its Club emblem depicting “Alexander the Great”.
Its playing roster is comprised of players from different nationalities as well as players of Greek origin whilst its management structure and supporter base is made up of people with Greek background the Club embraces people from a variety of different cultural backgrounds.
