HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE (2002) – Award of Distinction
Branko Buljevic was born in the former Yugoslavia in 1947. He played with OKF Belgrade before migrating to Australia to join Melbourne JUST. Buljevic was the leading scorer in the Victorian State League and represented the state. His first appearance for Australia was in October 1972 against Indonesia in Jakarta. He also played in the 1974 World Cup finals in Germany. During his carer Buljevic made 30 appearances for Australia, including 22 A internationals.
